Job Summary

Builds relationships with prospective and existing customers to grow revenue. Identifies new business opportunities, presents the organization's offerings, and manages a pipeline of accounts from first contact through close.

Essential Functions

  1. Prospect and qualify new leads through outbound calls, emails, and networking
  2. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations tailored to each customer's needs
  3. Manage a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM, keeping records accurate and up to date
  4. Negotiate pricing and contract terms within approved guidelines
  5. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
  6. Follow up with existing customers to identify upsell opportunities and prevent churn
  7. Report on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B or B2C sales
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

Preferred:

  • Experience in the organization's industry or a closely related one
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger)

Education & Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay range example: $55,000–$75,000 base salary plus commission (adjust to your market)
